Behind the Lens

I’m a wedding filmmaker based along the coast of Virginia, and I’ve been documenting love stories since 2019. When I’m not filming weddings, you’ll usually find me playing guitar, spending time outside on a walk, or slowing down with a freshly made latte and a good book.

I’ve always loved films—not just watching them, but analyzing how they’re made and why they make us feel something. I earned my film degree from Old Dominion University, with a minor in art history, which deeply shapes how I see and frame a wedding day. That background helps me curate your story behind the lens with intention—paying attention to composition, light, movement, and the small details—so your film feels thoughtful, honest, and timeless.

How love stories became my life's work

I’ve always been a hopeless romantic, drawn to books and stories about timeless, lasting love. As an Enneagram 4, I feel things deeply and naturally connect to the emotions and inner lives of others. Pair that empathy with my love for storytelling through film, and becoming a wedding filmmaker felt inevitable. Weddings are where emotion, connection, and love stories collide in the most honest way. Capturing that for couples feels both personal and deeply meaningful to me.
