01. the pitch

An introductory call is a laid-back chat (often on Zoom!) where we get to know each other and see if we’re a good fit. We’ll talk about your wedding day, what matters most to you, and how I can capture it in a way that feels authentic and timeless.

02. The Shot List

You will then be sent a proposal, which has all of the packages we discussed on the call with ample time to go over it with your beau.

03. The Martini shot

Sign the contract and submit the deposit to reserve your date! I will be present on your wedding day capturing all moments big and small so you can just sit back and enjoy your day knowing that I am there, finding moments you may have not even realized happened!

FAQs

I know wedding planning can feel overwhelming. That’s where I come in. I’m here to guide you through the collections, answer all your questions, and make this part of the process feel easy. No question is too small, and you’ll always have honest, thoughtful support every step of the way. You got this!

when do we get sneak peeks?

Because film has to be sent off to a specialty film lab for development and digitization, it can take about 4 - 6 weeks to get film in digital form back. This means it can take about 8 weeks before receiving the sneak peak and about 12-16 weeks for the highlight film.

Do you capture audio?

Super 8 is a silent film format, so it doesn’t capture audio. That said, I can use professional audio devices to capture your vows, first look and more if you would like that included in your film.

can we pick our music?

I can send you a link to a music library that I use that has royalty free music to choose from for the film or you can allow me to choose, that’s up to you. Most of my clients are more than happy to let me choose the soundtrack to the film. For social media sneak peeks, I normally choose something that I think works with your wedding day and that is often music that has already been licensed for commercial use that is popular or not typically royalty free.

are there risks with super 8?

Super 8 film and other kinds of film have a built in risk factor that digital does not. It’s sensitive for example to x-rays which is why I only use trusted shipping methods and send the film to the most trustworthy and professional labs in the country. That said, digital also poses risk as memory cards can become corrupted or worse. I take the capturing and shipping of film very seriously.
