C&A’s Gala 417 Wedding

The weather was perfect on Christine and Aleksei’s wedding day. I had a good feeling which led to good vibes right from the start. Gala 417 is one of my favorite venues to film at and now, I am a preferred vendor there. So, shameless plug! I had met Christine and Aleksei before this day on a Zoom meeting but this felt so different. Their energy was palpable…from the friends surrounding them, helping them every step of the way to Heather, their photographer, who just elevated the atmosphere with her camera work and smile, this was the perfect day. A Gala 417 wedding is so different in that, because you are right on the water by a marina, you are surrounded by nature all around you. This gives us so much extra footage of the boats, the wildlife and more.

The First Look took place outside. Aleksei had Christine do a little spin and he was just floored. After, we captured them reading letters to one another. We had goosebumps the whole time, I mean, this was poetry just flowing out of Aleksei’s mouth! It was so beautiful and romantic. He had Christine in tears.

The Ceremony was full of laughter as they had two of their best friends as the flower men! Gala 417 weddings are always like this! Full of laughter and also romance.

The celebration after was just so much fun. Their friends and family know how to party! Gala 417 is the best in the business at switching the Ceremony space to the reception to get that celebration going! I highly suggest you looking into a Gala 417 wedding if you are local to Virginia Beach or Hampton Roads.
